Nascentes do Iguaçu Ornithological Observatory 

Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN), located in the     pre-montane rainforests on the western slope of the Mata Atlântica, bordering Serra da Baitaca State Park, in Piraquara municipality — state of Paraná, Southern Brazil. The main objectives of this legally protected area under Brazilian law are biodiversity conservation and water springs protection. The management of the RPPN is focused on finding private companies interested in obtaining environmental certification, as well as academic and scientific partner institutions interested in promoting research on the biodiversity.
