Bird field guide

The Nascentes do Iguaçu Ornithological Observatory has its own Bird Field Guide.  This is very useful material for visitors to the site or for those who simply wish to use it as a research source.

The guide contains information on 108 species that inhabit the area.  With 121 photographs, the graphic design makes it easy to read the technical data about the birds: popular name, scientific name, name in English, and average length of each species.  The guide is published with high standard finishing, faithful colors and high-quality paper, resistant to constant handling during field trips.

The guide also presents a brief description of the Observatory, its objectives, the natural resources it protects, and the main facilities it offers.
